The Wasatch mountains we live and play in are all the more impressive when you consider the scale of the large slabs sitting, tilted, and lifted up above the desert that form the backbone of these mountains we run, bike, ski, and climb on. That thrust above the desert creates the basin to the west that so many people call home, while also creating a barrier that holds water and snow that is so critical in the desert—while creating the forested and gorgeous mountains that attracted all of us here. The power that pushed these mountain-sized slabs of rock thousands of feet into the air is a slow steady pressure over thousands of years—exerting it’s force quietly (for the most part), beneath the surface over thousands of years, while every other force is working against that upward momentum. A lot like life.

Our tees are 100% cotton and sourced from a small family brand who, like us, are focused on building something better, and higher quality. Sizing is standard—not boxy, not slim—and the cotton is soft and comfortable.
