We share the collective insights and perspectives of our community of adventurers and seekers.
We’re always on the lookout for inspirational stories. Stories of the journey, of overcoming, achieving, heartbreak, failure, inspiration, desperation, joy—tales of the human spirit alive and at its best outdoors.
We’re looking for original ideas and perspectives as related to personal development, community building, and the environment.
The pitches we choose will include a detailed overview of the story (written and photo/video). Photos will illustrate words, captions and short snippets will place visual content in context when and where applicable.
Writing Submission Guidelines
Features, columns, essays, opinions (tasteful, of course), and interviews, if you have a story that needs to be told let us know about it. If we like what we see we’ll contact you about publishing on our digital platform and possibly our first-edition print journal.
We prefer articles submissions to include imagery if possible.
Depending on the topic and the story type word count will vary.
Consider these content types and word counts as guidelines:
Features 1200–10000 words
Columns 250–1000 words
Essays 500–2000 words
Interviews 300–750 words
Opinions 300–1000 words
Please submit your written work via Google Doc.

Digital:
- JPG files preferred.
- Link to downloadable online galleries for review. Dropbox Preferred
- Minimum 144dpi.
- Preferred 300dpi.
Print:
- High-resolution DNG files preferred
- Print-resolution JPGs accepted
- Minimum 300dpi.
